I attended Canterbury Christ Church University where I studied Law with Criminology gaining my LLB in 2019. I am now working at Foster & Foster Solicitors, a Legal Aid practice specialising predominantly in housing, Debt, Community Care and Welfare benefits. In my previous positions before I joined Foster & Foster solicitors, I gained customer service experience in front facing roles dealing with various members of the public. This means that am accustomed to liaising with people from diverse backgrounds and nationalities. I have dealt with challenging clients and it improved my ability to problem solve in a very practical way.
When I was at university my favourite module was medical law and as part of this covered ethical issues. I found that it was useful learning this module because ethics have a bearing in all areas of law. Lawyers have to be ethical and I plan to take this learning into my practice when I qualify as a lawyer. In the next 18 months I want to complete the LPC in a London University with a view to qualifying as a solicitor. I would like to become a solicitor because I enjoy helping others and aim to always go above and beyond in doing so.
